Sara Choong, Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist - Profile
Sara is an avid athlete and aims to provide a holistic approach in treating those who need help. Following her bachelor’s of Nutrition in McGill Canada, she furthered her studies in physiotherapy at SIT and aims to combine her knowledge in both areas so as to enhance her skills as a physiotherapist. Sara was also a personal trainer and an athlete herself. She has played in Canadian leagues and represented Singapore in basketball and knows first-hand the physical demands an active sportsman has to put their bodies through, as well as the recovery that is needed. All these experiences have placed her in a position to treat sports related injuries with empathy. She has also worked with children and older adults, helping them get back to their goals and activities.
As a physiotherapist, Sara hopes to help her clients to become the most healthy and active version of themselves. Outside of work, she spends her time going to the gym, wake surfing and going to the beach.
