9 Jan Pilates for Runners Workshop

 

Hosted by our partners; Breathe – The Movement Specialists, this two-part workshop aims to introduce Runners to the benefits of Pilates and how it can benefit them in running ability and performance. The session which comprises of a talk by one of our own Core Concepts Physiotherapists, Jordan and a Pilates workshop, will cover the following topics:

  • Rehabilitation from new and/or chronic injuries
  • Breathing techniques for a more efficient running experience
  • Correcting posture and movement patterns to prevent injury and facilitate productive and safe exercise
  • Gaining strength and increasing range of motion for a more powerful running performance
